Engage Parent Portal

The Engage Parent Portal is an integrated, online portal where you can access up-to-date and meaningful information about our school and your child’s progress.

How to Guide for Parent Portal and Phone App

The Online Parent Portal and Phone App have many different features, including the ability to:

  • Monitor your child’s attendance (we use session attendance for compliance)
  • Update your family contact information
  • View your child’s timetable
  • Access your fee balance
  • Communicate with your child’s teachers
  • View notices relating to your child
  • View upcoming events on the school calendar (use in 2020)
  • Book Parent/Teacher Interviews (use in 2020)

Engage is a web-based system that is accessible on any modern web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).

Logging onto the Parent Portal for the First Time

The school will provide every family with an email notice containing the URL for the Engage Parent Portal plus your Username and Password. The system only allows 1 login per family (one primary email address is used and a family code is allocated). For separated parents, each parent has a primary email address and a different code so under these circumstances there are 2 different logins.

You can also log in by clicking the image below.

Important things you should know

For the last term of this year, we will be using a combination of portal notices and emails to communicate with you until all our parents are on the portal. Where you receive a portal notice, you will also receive an email notification of the portal notice.
We highly recommend that you download the Engage School App to manage all the notices that are sent to you. The first time you go into the App; on the Welcome Screen you will be required to enter a School ID/Code: MEC109 (please note, this is case sensitive and it is MEC not MECS). Make sure you allow notifications for the app, then you will be alerted of any incoming messages to the App, which will help you to monitor all incoming portal notices.

Parents will be able to notify the school of their child’s absence also via the Phone App by selecting Contact Us and then clicking on the email address and letting us know.

Student assessment is tracked via another system so at this stage, we will not be able to provide you with assessment information via the parent portal; however we are investigating the feasibility of providing student reports under the My Documents section in 2020.

If you are unable to login to the parent portal or download the phone app, please contact The Office and we will be most willing to assist you.
