Sometimes writing these editorials can be tough... what do parents want to know about? Do they need further encouragement to persevere during tough times? Do they need reassurance about their child’s learning, whether it be at school, or at the end of a computer? Do they care that we have started the process of introducing a new student database to iron out all those pesky Engage and parent portal issues? Do they need more parenting advice?
All I know is at the moment, in regard to my own well-being, I am back to basics! What makes me smile? What makes me laugh? What small kindness can I do today? What is true? What is trusted? And so, I offer you this... not my compilation, perhaps a little kitsch for some of you... but words of truth that I need to hear.
Please read this love letter...
