Building on ‘Faithful Foundations’

As Term 1 progresses our focus moves to building upon the foundations laid in the first weeks of the new school year.

Students are learning to discern God’s wisdom in developing skills of perseverance and resilience as learners and of teamwork and natural leadership as members of a learning community. Staff and students are challenging one another by participating in a community where all are engaged in lifelong learning.

Teachers are refining their understanding of individuals by assessing specific knowledge and skills and planning targeted learning experiences so that all are progressing along the learning continuum. Teachers and parents are connecting to build strong partnerships between home and school.

Teachers are creating and delivering a distinctly Christian Curriculum to challenge and engage learners in Class Mathematics and Numeracy Workshops; Reading Groups and Writing Activities; Core Studies and Special Programs; and in Specialist Subjects and Library visits. See Schoolbox for detailed Parent Information.

As we navigate the roller-coaster of a ‘new normal’, I am regularly reminded to rely on our God who is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, to trust Him and rely on His promises, rather than on my own resources.

I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5

We look forward to partnering with you as we encourage one another to learn and grow as God’s community and be fruitful in developing learners with strong hearts and minds.
