Ranges TEC is seeking a passionate and committed VCE VM Teacher to join our team commencing Term 2 or Term 3, 2026. As a VCE VM Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting senior secondary students undertaking the Victorian Certificate of Education – Vocational Major (VCE VM). You will design and deliver engaging, practical learning experiences that help students develop foundational knowledge, personal character, and readiness for work and life.

Ranges TEC is seeking a passionate, reliable and hands-on Nursery Hand (Nursery Technician) to join our team commencing in Term 2, 2026, or as soon as possible. This 0.30 FTE position (Wednesday full day and Friday afternoon) is offered initially as a fixed term trial position, with the potential to become ongoing for the right candidate.
This role is based at our vibrant Christian vocational training campus in Melbourne’s outer east, including our 11-acre training farm in Monbulk, where students undertake practical learning in Horticulture and Building & Construction as part of the Victorian Certificate of Education – Vocational Major (VCE VM).
As a Nursery Hand, you will play an important role in maintaining and developing our operational nursery while working alongside our Horticulture Teacher and Maintenance Manager. You will also support students as they engage in authentic, hands-on horticultural learning experiences that prepare them for meaningful work and service.
Your work will combine practical nursery management with relational engagement, contributing to an environment where students can grow in skill, confidence and character.

The Role
As a Nursery Hand (Nursery Technician), you will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of our nursery and horticultural spaces while supporting student learning in practical settings.

The Role
The Learning Assistant undertakes a broad and varied support role, working under the supervision of the Assistant Director and classroom teachers.
This position primarily involves assisting teachers in the classroom and supporting students in their educational programs, including literacy and numeracy development. The role may also include administrative support, resource preparation, and assistance within vocational learning spaces such as workshops and outdoor settings.
As a Learning Assistant, you will serve within the Lordship of Christ, faithfully supporting the educational direction and Christian ethos of the campus.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting teachers in classroom preparation and pack-up
Working with small groups of students or providing individual support
Assisting with literacy and numeracy development
Supporting classroom management under teacher direction
Administering and assisting with student assessments

The Role
The Administration and Promotions Officer will contribute to both the operational administration and the outward-facing communication of Ranges TEC.
This is a dynamic and varied role suited to someone who is highly organised, relationally warm, detail-oriented and confident in managing both administrative processes and promotional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Administration:
Providing front-of-house reception support and welcoming visitors to the campus
Managing general administrative tasks, correspondence and record keeping

Mount Evelyn Christian School (MECS) and Ranges TEC are seeking a capable, detail-oriented, and service-minded Finance Officer to join our Finance Team. This position is available to commence as soon as possible, offering a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the financial stewardship of two vibrant, Christ-centred learning communities.
Working closely with the Business Manager, Finance Manager, and the broader Finance Team, the Finance Officer will play an important role in the day-to-day financial operations of the School. From managing accounts payable and receivable, to reconciling financial records and supporting reporting processes, this role helps ensure the smooth and accurate management of the School’s finances.
You will also work alongside families and suppliers in a professional and supportive manner, assisting with school fee processes, coordinating payments, and maintaining clear and accurate financial data. Your work will directly support the operational strength and long-term sustainability of the School.
This position operates across both the Mount Evelyn Christian School campus(MECS) in Mount Evelyn and the Ranges TEC campus in Lilydale, providing variety and the opportunity to be part of two dynamic and growing educational communities.

Required qualifications and experience include:
Demonstrated experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably with responsibility for accounts payable and receivable.

Confidence communicating with families and suppliers in a professional, helpful, and respectful manner.
Experience assisting with month-end processes, financial reconciliations, and reporting.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong computer literacy, including financial systems, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
